When is a Fire Watch required?
Hot work: Continuously during hot work through least 1 hour after hot work complete; 2 hours after completion of torch-applied roofing. Longer depending on local fire regulations.
Sprinkler system outage: Firewatch is required if a sprinkler or alarm system is down 10 hours or more within a 24 hour period.
